Pedorthic Practicum Bursary
The Pedorthic Practicum Bursary is awarded to deserving students who are enrolled in the Western University – Continuing Studies, Pedorthics (Diploma) Program and are relocating to participate in at least one of their three practicums. This bursary is intended to provide financial support for students who would like to gain Pedorthic experience in another city or province, and to help grow the Pedorthic presence in areas that are underserviced. Preference will be given to students applying in areas where the Pedorthic profession is under-represented. This bursary is generously supported by the Pedorthic Association of Canada.
Value: Up to 5 bursaries worth $2000 each will be granted annually.
Eligibility: To be eligible to receive the bursary you must:
- Be enrolled full-time in Western University – Continuing Studies, Pedorthics diploma program
- Secure a practicum placement that requires you to relocate more than 100km
Note: Those who commute from their permanent residence to a practicum will not be eligible to receive this bursary.
Successful applicants will be provided with a conditional approval of funding at the beginning of their practicum. Confirmation of the secured practicum must be provided by the practicum supervisor before funds will be transferred to the recipient

Please note that applications for all 3 practicums are to be submitted by this deadline.
In the event of extenuating circumstances, the Pedorthic Association of Canada may consider an application outside this deadline.
