Recognizing excellence in the Canadian Pedorthic Industry

Emerging Professional Award

The Emerging Professional Award recognizes a Certified Pedorthist with five years or less in practice who demonstrates exceptional dedication, leadership, and early impact within the profession.
The award celebrates a rising professional who goes above and beyond for their clients and/or demonstrates passion for the profession. Nominees may show strength in areas such as clinical excellence, innovation, community involvement, advocacy, education, or leadership within their workplace or community as it relates to Pedorthics. Candidates are not required to exemplify all these qualities and impact in any one or more of these areas is sufficient.
Eligible Criteria:
Nominees must:
  • Be a Canadian Certified Pedorthist in good standing.
  • Have five (5) years or less in practice at the time of nomination.
  • Demonstrate outstanding commitment to client care, professional growth, leadership. and/or community impact as it relates to Pedorthics.
  • Association volunteer involvement is not required.

Spirit of Pedorthics Award

The Spirit of Pedorthics Award recognizes a PAC member who exemplifies the passion, energy, and heart of the Pedorthic profession. This individual inspires others, strengthens the PAC community, and enhances public awareness of Pedorthics.
Recipients actively champion the profession through meaningful social media engagement, community involvement, and a strong commitment to professional growth. Their positivity and dedication foster pride, unity, and momentum within the PAC network.
This award honours someone who doesn’t just practice Pedorthics – but truly lives and promotes it.
Eligible Criteria:
Nominees must demonstrate:
  • An impactful social media presence that educates and promotes Pedorthics
  • Active engagement within the PAC community
  • Meaningful local community involvement
  • A strong commitment to advancing the profession
  • A positive, motivating presence that uplifts others
  • Association volunteer involvement is not required.

Mentorship Award

This award honors a Certified Pedorthist who demonstrates outstanding commitment to mentorship within our industry. Through guidance, encouragement and leadership, the recipient makes a lasting impact on colleagues, students and emerging professionals. This award celebrates those who believe we are stronger together, that knowledge-sharing, collaboration and fostering the professional growth of others elevates both the individual and our profession.
Eligibility Criteria:
Nominees must:
  • Be a Certified Pedorthist in good standing with the Pedorthic Association of Canada
  • Demonstrate active involvement in mentoring students, staff, or other pedorthists within their workplace, clinical setting, educational environment, or broader professional community
  • Have contributed meaningfully to the growth, confidence, and professional development of others in the field
  • Association volunteer involvement is not required.
